I'm sure most of y'all have already seen reports of the flooding here on the news. Thankfully we were spared (save a harrowing drive home from preschool carpool with 4 routes flooded out, and a long delay in getting Anna Claire home from school as busses got stranded and delayed). We are all home, safe, and dry. Thank God.

Thankfully there seems to be a bit of (much needed) respite. School has been cancelled for tomorrow, so hopefully we'll all get a bit of (again, much needed) rest.
