Busy June

Well, after just one week 'off' since the end of school, our summer routine picks up tomorrow!

Anna Claire will start her first Girl Scout day camp tomorrow - Adventures in Candyland. There will be some candy making (2 days - 1 taffy pull and something else?), a day of horseback riding, a day of dance class (to learn the routine for their end of week show), and the usual camp fun (art projects, hikes, swimming in the lake, etc). After that she'll have another week of a different Girl Scout camp (Little Camp in the Big Woods - with a Laura Ingalls Wilder sort of theme).

Meanwhile, Caroline will be going to a Mother's Morning Out program at her preschool. Anna Claire did the same at this age, and it worked nicely to transition to the 3 mornings/week in the fall. Plus, one of her favorite teachers will be there, so she's excited.

Then we all have a week of Vacation Bible School! Anna Claire has been begging to go back since the day last year's ended. This year, I'll be volunteering a couple of days too, so Caroline will come along and do a 'mini-VBS' for the 3yo's too.

Finally, a week with both girls in the same spot (for once!) - MMO & a week back at Camp Kudzu for Anna Claire.

And that's JUST the month of June!
