Fulfilling the requirments here to hopefully help build our bento gear stash (and 'cause we do read Maisie Eats Bento and it's fun)!
Anna Claire has been taking her Laptop Lunchbox several times a week all year now, and loves it. But, it's gotten kind of 'boring' lately (though she's not complaining) so I've been surfing for inspiration. She'd likely never (or at least not anytime in the immediate future) go for 'true' bento - no onigiri or takoyaki for her, no matter what cute little shape it may be in! But, the general 'little bites' premise does help with our variety in general, and makes things a bit more interesting for her too.
I also suspect we'll be headed this way for Caroline, as she pretty much refuses any/all preschool lunch on principle (even when she's told that she can't have the day's birthday treat cupcake til she takes just *one* bite of *anything* on her plate . . . ooooh, she can be hard headed!!!).
