Another 'where did she make that connection?' Anna Claire story . . ..
While playing with her Wikki Stix at a restaurant the other afternoon, Anna Claire asked for some help making an airplane (I've mentioned she loves airplanes, right?). Once the plane is made, Anna Claire calls out "Contact!" (for those of you less familiar with planes - it's the common announcement before one starts their propeller - think "Clear!" on every medical drama before they use the shock paddles). I look a bit befuddled at where this came from. Papa says "oh she probably learned it from Jay-Jay." Anna Claire corrects him: "No Papa, Jay-Jay is a jet. I learned it from Snuffy, he's the prop."
